First arctic blast arrives next week

First blast of cold winter air arrives this week - but how about doubling down on that next week? This morning's long-range models are coming in with the suggestion that we could see a very active weather pattern setting up over the next two weeks, which could mean more snow, and a quick change from this warmer pattern we've been experiencing since November, to one that has us well below the average for this time of year. How about 40 degrees below average?? At 240 hours out, weather model accuracy is far from 100%, but this is a trend worth keeping an eye on, and I'll certainly be making final winterization/sealing preparations to the house this week.
