6-8" snow accumulations continue to look likely in Champaign-Urbana

Updated forecast snow totals still show the highest probabilities in the 6-8" range for Champaign-Urbana by Monday morning. A steady light to moderate rain will continue into the overnight before switching to snow around 3 AM. A heavy wet snow will begin accumulating during the early morning hours and continue through much of the day on Sunday before slowly tapering off Sunday night. Winds will shift out of the northwest during the later part of the day and become quite gusty, so blowing snow could create visibility issues Sunday afternoon/night.
